Company Overview
PowerTrak is a Queensland owned and operated business providing civil, construction, demolition and earthmoving services. The business was established by its principal Darren Power in early 2000 and commenced operations servicing the building and construction industry. It quickly expanded into the civil contracting sector undertaking numerous road stabilisation and construction contracts, as well as subdivisional earthworks, retaining wall and stormwater drainage stages on developments and subdivisions throughout the state. The capability of the business has been continually expanding and now also provided a well-rounded suite of services including demolition and asbestos removal.

However, we also go an extra mile working with clients on buildability to optimise the spend and enhance job quality. A key point of difference in our business is we also recognise risk and work with clients at at all levels to mitigate risk on every job. Our company operates with a full range of earthmoving equipment and capabilities which enables us to tailor plant to cost-effectively tighten specification and project timelines.
Our current fleet includes:
- Front end loaders
- Excavators – 5 tonne to 20 tonne
- Semi-trucks and tippers
- Positrak with laser grader attachment
- Plate compactors & vertical rammers
- Water trucks
- Rollers – 4 tonne to 20 tonne
- Low loaders for mobilisation of heavy equipment
Key Personnel:
Darren commenced his involvement in earthmoving and civil construction working on Teir 1 construction and infrastructure projects and has progressed from small beginnings as owner/operator has been a fleet of equipment with high levels of capability
He holds the following qualifications:

- Civil Drainage
- Workplace health and safety
Now, with more than 20 years’ experience in the industry he is able to work with clients to provide tailored and timely services.
